It is made out of a flexible insulating fabric that wraps around the container and has an embedded heating element. The fabric exterior delivers effective warmth in a space-saving form. Fabric interior for softly nesting glass vessels to reduce thermal stress and glassware breakage. To prevent overheating, the Mantles use a controlled electrical power supply.

Supertek heating mantles provide fast and uniform heating to round bottom flasks with a temperature range up to 350°C. These heating mantles are made of rolled aluminum body that wraps around the bottom and sides of a flask. The heating element is flexible, insulated and anchored securely in glass fabric. Heat rate is controlled by an electronic voltage controller.
Please note that the heating element cording may be slightly brown in color. This is a result of heating during the QC process.
